Vegan Lebanese inspired avocado toast

This is by far one of the easiest recipes I’ve ever used, but it was so tasty! I made it for lunch one day when I didn’t have so much time and it did keep me full for hours!

Ingredients:

  • 1 slice of bread (I used whole grain bread)
  • hummus, to taste
  • 1/4 sliced avocado (or more if you like!)
  • chopped tomato (I used 1/2 tomato)
  • lemon juice
  • za’atar (make your own mix by using oregano and sesame seeds if you don’t have za’atar), to taste

 

Directions:

  1. Toast your slice of bread
  2. Spread hummus on your toast
  3. Layer your avocado slices
  4. Add lemon juice (if desired)
  5. Top with your chopped tomato
  6. Sprinkle za’atar or your own mix
